One of us was recently on vacation. To my great dismay, one was to the desert while I visited Chipping Campden which is at least twice as far from home and much closer to an oasis than any desert would ever be! If any of you think about visiting our garden at Veddw (shameless self promotion again!), Chipping Campden is only 1.5 hours away through beautiful English countryside with even some Roman roads along its route!
Chipping Campden offers gardeners much to look forward to this winter besides cream teas and toasted teacakes, including Plants in Doorways which add beauty and character to this ancient and picturesque town. At the tourist office we found a plan that took us on an enlightening stroll of Chipping Campden; I will share some highlights here with you.
